![]() I cannot remember what the former is called, but I assume someone will come along who knows what I'm talking about and can link to it. ![]() The latter is called the Quest Award Leveler and is available here. Together these two mods make the game quite playable and not nearly so conceptually offensive. Your max level can be anywhere between (and including) levels 46 and 50, depending on how much (or little) the skill bonuses of your race overlaps with the major skills for your class. ![]() The second puts an item in your inventory that, when you use it, automatically checks all your variable-power artifacts and sets them to the power appropriate to your current level. The first sets it so the attributes you pick to increase when you level up automatically go up by five every time. I have two mods installed that fix these problems. Second, the power of the magic artifacts you gain from quests depends on the level you complete the quest at, so if you do things in the wrong order you can end up with a bunch of sucky magic items for the endgame. ![]() If you fuck up and get a level where you increase three stats by 1 or 2, congratulations, you've just decreased in power relative to the power of the world. Click to expand. The leveling system will screw you in two ways.įirst, every time you level up you get to increase three stats, but the amount they increase by depends on the number of skill-ups you've earned during that level - at worst, the stat may only increase by one, while if you're careful and really anal about how you use your skills, the stat may increase by five. ![]()
